D-FW home prices up 6.7 percent in third quarter, Realtors’ report shows

NEW ORLEANS — Dallas-Fort Worth home prices are up 6.7 percent in a new nationwide comparison. The D-FW price gain was ahead of the 4.9 percent average increase in the 172 U.S. markets surveyed in the third quarter by the National Association of Realtors, which is holding its annual conference this week in New Orleans. D-FW median home sales prices were at an all-time high of $193,500 in the closely watched Realtor report.
